Giuliano Galeotti was born March 2, 1955 
in Portoferraio (Livorno, Italy).
Since he was seven years old he was very good at drawing as well as at painting.
Giuliano's work represents his personal experience of sorrow and pain, beared as inner life. Maybe never before, as in this case, art and life are so close and run along the same patterns, to get unified into a common language. A dramatic passionate language, typically expressionist, which translates author's dispair and disdain.

"In painting I've found the strength to grow up" claims the Tuscan artist, now adopted in Modena. In his works - in fact - Giuliano could verify his own as well others people's sad experiences, to finally draw his own vision about life (Michele Fuoco in its book on the artist "Riflessi d'amore").

Giuliano Galeotti's painting is not easy, decorative wall painting. It excites, releases emotions and vibrations, communicates something which never ends. Giuliano synthesizes his life as painter in this way:

"Painting for me is an art which allows me to see with my mind and to paint with my hearth".

His difficult childhood, portrayed in his works and told by himself, brought him to study and improve. He is an autodidact who attained a unique artistic level. Critics defined him one of the most interesting artists in contemporary art.
